Auction Model List
Mid-Atlantic
Regional Horse Show Benefit Auction
Models that do not make a reasonable
price in the live auction will be added to the silent auction held through
Sunday March 16 at approximately
4:00 p.m. Models may not be
auctioned in the order listed below.
What is a reasonable price?
Well, figure in the cost of the “body” (OF Breyer, often $25-$35,
depending on it’s “newness” and popularity, plus shipping costs), plus
prepping (another $30+, plus shipping costs), plus painting. With this in mind, show management has the right to “no
sale” an item if a reasonable price is not received.
These models will then be offered at silent auction, or later after the
show on MHSP or ebay.
Proxy bids will be accepted via e-mail until 12:00 noon
Eastern Standard Time (EST) on Friday, March 14, 2008.
To place a proxy bid, you must send an e-mail to the show holder, Betsy
Andrews, at Betsy_Andrews@hotmail.com,
with the subject line “MAR Auction Bid.”
The e-mail must contain the following information:
- The
lot letter;
- The
lot title (example: “OF PS
Blue Peaches” or “Chaney Mini Welsh Painted by Beth Hoffert”);
- Your
full name;
- Your
mailing address;
- Your
e-mail address;
- Your
phone number; and
- The
highest whole dollar amount you are willing to pay for the item.

E. Lake Shore Morgan
Mare CG by Betsy Andrews
Current
Bid: $50.00
The
Lake Shore Miz Charisma has been custom glazed a sandy bay with minimal
markings. A very unique piece –
perfect to show in the CG Lake Shore Division.
She’s a very different bay from the original color – a much softer,
sandy color, with a great deal more shading, and golden highlights. Minimal white make her a candidate for Plain Janes, too!
